KBDi Event Terms and Conditions

The Kitchen and Bathroom Designers Institute of Australia (KBDi) runs various events, videoconferences, and conferences to update, educate and connect members and corporate partners around Australia.

By registering for an event, you automatically agree to our terms of use.

KBDi reserves the right to make changes, revisions, and amendments, or add/remove sections from this set of terms and conditions – without any prior notifications to you. Such changes will be duly reflected on the KBDi website (www.kbdi.org.au). These changes will relate back to the date of registrations for an event.

Registration
KBDi Members will always receive preferential ticket allocation.

KBDi reserves the right to decline the registration of any person and will refund applicable payments should this occur.

Payment Terms
If an invoice has been issued for an event ticket the invoice has a payment term of 14 days from the date of issue. All invoices must be settled prior to the commencement of the event. Registrations received within 14 days of the commencement of the event need to be settled immediately and prior to the event. Failure to make payment as required may result in cancellation of registration.

Transfer Policy
Attendee substitutions may be made at any time, subject to the communication to, and approval by, KBDi. If a replacement attendee is not a member, the non-member fee will apply, and the difference must be paid immediately and prior to the event.

Event Cancellation Policy
Where KBDi determines that an in-person Event cannot be held due government health requirements, the weather, or other extreme circumstances, it will make arrangements to reschedule the Event or offer the Event as a virtual event able to be attended by videoconferencing service as it determines in its sole discretion.

A refund less administration fees/credit card fees will be provided if an event is cancelled by KBDi. Other costs to delegates including, but not limited to, flights and accommodation will not be covered by KBDi. We recommend delegates cover themselves with Travel Insurance.

Refund Policy
KBDi will consider ticket cancellation requests that are submitted in writing to KBDi. The effective cancellation date is the date the email is received.

  • Cancellation more than 28 days: 80% refund
  • Cancellation 28 days or less, no refund
  • Cancellation must be in writing.

If a refund is granted, the amount refunded will not include any credit card fees KBDi incurred when processing the ticket purchase (Stripe fee = 1.75% + 30c).

Program Amendments
Although every effort will be made to keep presentations as represented, KBDi reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the program including cancelling the event where required. While we will try our best to notify guests of the changes prior to the event. In exceptional circumstances this is not always possible and cannot be guaranteed.
