VIDEOCONFERENCE
Whether you're preparing concept drawings for clients or producing detailed documentation for quotation or manufacturing, clear, consistent drafting is the foundation of successful projects.
Join KBDi's Selina Zwolsman for a practical walkthrough of the newly revised Guide, highlighting the drafting conventions and documentation standards that support better communication at every stage of the design and construction process.
During this videoconference, we'll cover:
- Essential drafting conventions and why they matter
- The information every professional drawing set should include
- Common documentation pitfalls (and how to avoid them)
- Drawing standards that improve communication between designers, cabinetmakers, manufacturers and installers
- Practical tips for producing clear, consistent and professional documentation
Whether you're an experienced designer, an emerging professional or involved in the manufacture and installation of cabinetry, this session will help you create documentation that is easier to interpret, more consistent to produce, and better aligned with industry best practice.
Importantly, this session is not about learning a specific CAD program or drafting platform. Whether you work in Cabinet Vision, Mozaic, Winner Flex, SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, or Chief Architect – or even produce drawings by hand – the principles remain the same. This session focuses on what your drawings should communicate, not on how you create them.
Join us as we draw the line on inconsistent documentation and discover how a common drafting language can help deliver better outcomes – from concept to completion.
