Expanding the Design Palette: Zip HydroTap range now with New Brushed Finishes for Contemporary Specification

As kitchens continue to evolve into highly resolved, design led spaces, finish selection has become as influential as form and functionality. Recognising this shift, Zip is expanding its HydroTap residential portfolio with new brushed finishes from May 2026, giving designers greater freedom to specify appliances that sit confidently within contemporary interiors.

Warm metallic finishes continue to gain momentum in premium residential kitchens, offering depth, character and a softer alternative to cooler, industrial tones. Reflecting this trend, Zip introduces Brushed Bronze as a new premium finish across the HydroTap residential range.

Designed to suit both modern and traditional spaces, Brushed Bronze delivers warmth without overpowering the surrounding palette.

It has been developed to complement popular material palettes such as natural stone, timber veneers and textured laminates, making it well suited to modern Australian kitchens and integrated joinery designs.

Alongside the introduction of Brushed Bronze, Brushed Gunmetal and Brushed Brass are now available across all Zip HydroTap range. This expansion responds to the growing demand for consistency across tapware, mixers and accessories and is particularly important in open plan kitchens where visual cohesion is key.

By offering these finishes across the full HydroTap portfolio, designers can now maintain continuity throughout the space, whether specifying a bold statement finish or integrating Zip taps more subtly within the broader scheme.

In addition to the new colour finish updates, the Zip HydroTap range has been streamlined to improve clarity at specification stage. Celsius Arc and Celsius All In One models are being phased out, with the Celsius Plus All In One range expanded to provide broader water options and a simplified proposition for both designers and clients.

The expanded Celsius Plus All In One range introduces new water combinations, including Boiling & Ambient and Chilled & Sparkling, while retaining Zip’s best performing technology.

Together, these updates reflect Zip’s ongoing focus on aligning product design with how kitchens are specified today — where appliances are expected to integrate seamlessly into the overall design narrative while delivering reliable, high performance functionality.

With the introduction of Brushed Bronze, and the expansion of Brushed Gunmetal and Brushed Brass finishes across the HydroTap range, and a simplified portfolio, Zip continues to support designers with clear specification pathways, elevated finish options and solutions that respond directly to contemporary residential design expectations.
