A message from our Corporate Plus Partners, Verdecor.

The completion of the KnoxOne showroom provides a tangible environment in which Verdecor decorative surfaces can be experienced beyond conventional cabinetry applications.

Developed over the course of a year, the project was conceived as a deliberate and exploratory interior study. Rather than functioning as a traditional display space, the showroom was designed to examine how engineered decorative boards can operate as a defining material across walls, ceilings and custom joinery. Within this setting, Verdecor surfaces are presented at architectural scale, allowing designers and specifiers to assess material continuity, proportion and finish interaction within a fully realised environment. Instead of isolated samples, the space offers an integrated context where light, movement and detailing reveal the spatial character of each surface.

Particular focus has been placed on exploring the fabrication boundaries of engineered melamine panels. Working within the inherent constraints of panel-based construction, the project investigates how precision joinery, mitred junctions and refined edge treatments can extend the expressive potential of decorative boards. Through considered machining processes and careful coordination with complementary hardware systems, material limitation becomes a design parameter rather than a restriction.

Within the KnoxOne framework, next-generation storage hardware and integrated lighting solutions are incorporated to support the overall material expression. When fabrication techniques, hardware engineering and surface design are aligned, a controlled yet versatile interior language can emerge. Importantly, the showroom serves as a new reference point for designers. It invites exploration — encouraging professionals to move through the space, observe detailing at close range and reconsider how decorative boards may be specified beyond traditional applications. As Verdecor continues to develop its collections, this experimental showroom stands as a measured yet confident expression of the brand’s commitment to material integrity, precision and spatial cohesion in contemporary interior practice.
