A message from our Corporate Plus Partners, Austaron Surfaces.

Originating from a practical need to reuse broken stone and tile fragments, terrazzo was born from resourcefulness. Today, it is celebrated for its ability to add texture, depth, and personality to modern spaces.

Terrazzo continues to be a desirable finish in contemporary interior design. Its sustained popularity speaks to terrazzo’s lasting charm, durability, and remarkable ability to stay relevant through shifting design trends.

Complementing both bold and restrained design approaches, terrazzo offers:

  • Timeless aesthetic: a balance of heritage influence and modern refinement
  • Versatility: suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, furniture and commercial environments
  • Material richness: subtle movement and speckled textures that add depth without overwhelming a space

As homeowners and designers shift toward expressive, tactile materials, terrazzo continues to stand out as a favourite for both statement moments and everyday surfaces.

TERRAZZO VENEZIA
Our most popular terrazzo, Venezia mixes chips of soft white, earthy beiges, cool greys, black, and subtle soft pinks and grey-greens. The 2025 Residential Staron Design Awards winner used Terrazzo Venezia in a contemporary farmhouse-style kitchen, designed and brought to life by Onyx Detailed Joinery in NSW.

TERRAZZO SIENA
With a solid black base, Siena features chips in varying tones of grey, along with speckled white chips that give the illusion of sparkle. Its high contrast creates a bold, contemporary statement that instantly draws the eye.

TERRAZZO TIVOLI
Blue, black, white and grey chips are scattered through a cool white base, offering colour without being bold and allowing the surface to respond to its surroundings. The blue tones can be subtly leveraged through complementary materials and finishes.

TERRAZZO BOLOGNA
A soft beige base with chips of white, soft pink, dark beige and seafoam green. Bologna’s popularity sits alongside Terrazzo Venezia, and it’s easy to see why. It is perfectly suited to the warm colour palettes many homeowners gravitate towards.

TERRAZZO TORINO
An urban grey base with varying chips from white to black, accented by a subtle sprinkle of beige. Modern yet timeless, it is well suited to homeowners seeking a sleek, industrial feel.

TERRAZZO COMO
A soft grey-black base with a subtle shimmer throughout. White, black, grey and clear chips create genuine depth within the surface, with larger fragments used sparingly to deliver a more refined, architectural terrazzo expression.
