A message from our Corporate Partner, WK Stone.
WK Stone continues to build its curated portfolio of stone surfaces with the introduction of a new Italian-inspired terrazzo collection, arriving this summer. Designed with contemporary kitchens and bathrooms in mind, the range offers designers a fresh interpretation of a familiar material - one that balances character, durability, and versatility.
Made in Italy, the terrazzo collection features ten carefully developed colourways, ranging from soft mints such as Amalfi to pale pink tones like Rosa, through to warmer terracotta and earthy hues, including Piazza, alongside classic black and white options such as Nero. The palette has been created to support a wide spectrum of kitchen and bathroom aesthetics, from restrained, tonal schemes to more expressive, design-led spaces.
Well-suited to benchtops, vanities, splashbacks, flooring, and wall applications, the collection allows designers to create material continuity across wet and dry zones. Its durability also supports use in both indoor and outdoor settings, making it a practical choice for projects that extend from interior kitchens and bathrooms into alfresco and poolside areas.
Terrazzo’s enduring appeal lies not only in its visual character but also in its longevity. Produced using natural stone fragments and a refined manufacturing process, terrazzo is a durable, long-lasting surface - an important consideration for designers seeking more sustainable material choices.
As part of WK Stone’s broader surface offering, the terrazzo collection reflects an ongoing focus on materials that respond to the evolving needs of designers and specifiers. It provides an additional layer of flexibility for kitchen and bathroom projects where performance, longevity, and aesthetic clarity are equally important.
The terrazzo range will be presented to the design community this summer and can be viewed at WK Stone’s showrooms and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne, and the Gold Coast, where designers can experience the collection at slab scale and in the context of WK Stone’s wider surface selection.
