A message from our Corporate Partner, InSinkErator.
InSinkErator's Evolution series food waste disposers are more powerful and quieter than ever before.
Top of the range, the Evolution 250 features a three-stage grind and advanced sound reduction technology. It’s the quietest and most powerful model and grinds virtually all food. Full stop.
Finest of Grinds
The InSinkErator Evolution 250 disposer has no blades. Instead, small lugs sit on a spinning plate and act like a hammer effect, breaking down the food to half the size of a grain of rice, which is then passed through existing plumbing to a wastewater treatment plant.
Swivel lugs work with the grind shear ring to perform the first and second stages of grinding. Fixed lugs grind particles finer than swivel lugs alone. Under Cutter Disk performs the third stage of grinding. It cuts particles one more time to grind even finer.
Fast Powerful Motor
No loss of torque offers consistent power through the DuraDrive high-performing motor, meaning the disposer can grind food scraps faster and more consistently.
Quieter than Ever Before
Internal insulation, anti-vibration mounts and a sink baffle effectively reduce noise when the disposer is in operation. The EVO 250 model contains MultiLayer Sound Limiter Insulation. Multiple layers of open and closed cell material both muffle and trap noise emitted by the disposer. The Anti-vibration mount insulates the disposer in a cushion of rubber, which reduces the transfer of noise and vibration from the disposer to the sink.
Power When You Need It
A built-in automated PowerBoost feature assists when grinding more challenging food matter such as bones. The EVO 250 contains a Jam-Sensor Circuit. When a jam is imminent, it increases the rotational torque of the motor up to 200% while simultaneously pulsing at a rate of 60 times per second.
Auto-Reverse Action
The EVO 250 features Auto-reverse action of extended product life and trouble free operation.
Stainless Steel Grinding Element
The EVO250 contains a stainless steel grinding element with an 1180 ml grind chamber to maximise capacity.
