accredited Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) or Certified Bathroom Designer
(CBD)
Members of the
KBDI are eligible to apply for accreditation as a Certified Kitchen Designer or
a Certified Bathroom Designer on successful completion of the applicable
Domestic Wet Areas -Kitchen Design or Domestic Wet Areas Bathroom - Design
Course.
Those with
previous training or extensive industry experience can apply for Recognition of
Prior Learning for all or part of the
course.

Course
Overview:
The kitchen is
viewed as the whole room, or area within an open plan environment. This is
the design space including the built envelope (ceiling, walls, floor, doors and
windows, cabinets, splashbacks, appliances, fixtures, fittings and
lighting). The course is delivered in two
stages.

Course

or laundry is viewed as the whole room. This is the design space which

surface finishes, fixtures, fittings, services and lighting). The course
