Fifty shades of ... green

The green revolution has continued to roll out in Australian homes, with a gorgeous collection of green-hued kitchens gracing our 2024 Design Awards gallery.

In this feature, we’re sharing just a few of our favourites from this year’s program.

Paul Coulson (Earthborne by Design, Queensland) paired Polytec’s Pallido with Caesarstone Organic White in this outstanding example of an accessible kitchen. The pale grey-green adds a great sense of serenity to this well-planned space.

New South Wales designer, Arna Sleishman (Designed by Arna) used Polytec’s Botanic in this dark and moody space. The deep green hue is the client’s favourite colour and works well with copper detailing and a striking green and grey veined stone.

Victoria’s Olivia Cirocco (GIA Renovations) went all out with the olives in this special little space. Laminex Olivine is a medium-strength, yellow-based green that pairs perfectly with the green and bronze Bisazza tiles purchased by the client.

Laminex describes their colour Seed as a ‘delicate organic green-grey neutral with earthy undertones’. Melbourne designer Georgette Criticos (GIA Renovations) applied it beautifully in this tranquil kitchen, pairing it with Laminex Calm White and Caesarstone’s Aterra Blanca.

New South Wales designer, Danielle Bonello-Dunsford (Danielle Victoria Design Studio) made Dulux Moorland the feature of this fabulous space. The mid-tone grey-green pairs beautifully with Dulux Natural White, creating a calm oasis for the homeowners.
