Head Interior Design is a boutique residential interior design company based in Adelaide. Amelia, the award-winning Head Designer, understands that a home is an ever-evolving story of its occupants’ lives. Therefore, interior design needs to enhance how one lives – from both a functional and aesthetic approach. Amelia understands that in truly exceptional interiors, there is a human connection with the materiality and as you will see from her client testimonials, Amelia takes a personalised approach to each space to ensure it is functional, aesthetically stunning and also is reflective of the individuals with whom Amelia works.

Amelia began her design studies at the University of South Australia completing a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and went on to complete a Bachelor of Interior Architecture and Bachelor of Art and Design (Honours) specialising in Interior Architecture. Amelia graduated with First Class Honours and was the recipient of the University of South Australia’s Chancellor’s Letters of Commendation. In 2017 Amelia published a journal article that explored the concept of home and how it can be applied to clinical settings. Amelia continues to research the concept of “home” and the idea of “at-homeness”.
