Professional Training for Kitchen Designers & Bathroom Designers
  • Courses developed by industry professionals
  • Up to date training by experienced industry trainers

Members of KBDi who have 3 1/2 years experience as a designer, have completed the course and have a portfolio of work are eligible to apply for accreditation as a Certified Kitchen Designer or a Certified Bathroom Designer.

Those with previous training or extensive industry experience can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning for all or part of the course.

There is a cost involved in the recognition of prior learning process. However it can cost less than training. It will save you time and help you reach your career goals more quickly.

Each individual applicant needs to be fully assessed against the course and there is a charge for this service. It varies according to each individual case, depending on how your skills and experience are being assessed. To find out how this could work for you, complete the application for RPL and forward to the KBDi office and we will give you a detailed schedule of any training you need to complete and the cost involved in the process and any assessment. (There is no obligation to go ahead with the RPL application, but you can get a better understanding of your options before committing to either training or RPL)

Courses are available in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart and Perth, depending on demand.
